Also today, we are reminded that there are forces at work, right now, that seek to take the vote away from us. By any means necessary, the criminal enterprise masquerading as our nation’s government is seeking to discredit, discourage, disallow and, yes, delay American citizens’ right to vote. When it is clear that there is no escape from the damage this administration has caused – 150,000 dead from the pandemic, tens of millions unemployed, rent and mortgage relief expiring at the very same time that financial relief is expiring, a severely contracted economy without a plan for the effects of continued unemployment, non-military armed forces thrust into cities with the express purpose of fomenting discord and disruption – Twittler suggests he will delay the election out of concern for public health. This is the same individual who, along with his supporters, would send our children and teachers back to school, health risk be damned. There’s some cognitive dissonance here.
The Orange Menace and his enablers have seen to it that the table is set to challenge the vote, particularly if mail-in voting is involved. He either doesn’t know, or he doesn’t want his rabid fans to know, that mail-in and absentee voting are one and the same. The slow-down of the USPS is part of the process of delaying and devaluing the vote. His reckless tweets about voter fraud fail to mention that he and many of his lackeys vote by mail, and always have.
These next 96 days will be the most dangerous in recent history. There are multiple traps being laid: the postal service disruption, the storm troopers escalating violence, the rampant infection of COVID-19, the potential for en-masse evictions of people without jobs and without rent relief. All to maintain Cheeto Satan’s ability to skip the penitentiary. Prompted and coached by Putin, aided and abetted by Barr, McConnell and the rest of the swamp scum, the con-man destroys all that doesn’t serve him.
We are being abused by our own government. We are abuse victims, every one of us, including his ardent followers. They don’t know they are the first that he holds in contempt and will sacrifice to his ruling demons.
Those of us who have any decency left must follow the path that John Lewis laid down before us.

This November, let’s honor the memory of John Robert Lewis and vote to save the soul of our nation. And, if you are voting by mail, do it as early as you possibly can. The USPS cannot be trusted to get ballots in on time, not now.
